To add a new server
From the website
- Log in and choose your location from the Yelp Reservations dashboard
- Go to the Floor tab in the sidebar and click the Servers tab in the top right
- Click Add Server
- Enter the server name and choose an available color
- Click Save to add the server to the list of inactive servers, or click tables on the floor to assign to the new server to activate them now, then click Save
From the iPad app
- Tap the Floor tab in the sidebar
- Tap the Servers tab in the top right
- Tap Add Server
- Enter the server name and choose an available color
- Tap Add to add the server to the list of inactive servers, or tap Currently Assigned to assign tables from the list to activate the new server now, then tap Done and Add
To activate a server later, select the inactive server from the Servers tab and assign tables to the server. Or, you can add the inactive server to a reservation while creating a reservation from the website – they'll appear in the active list once the reservation status is updated.
