Yelp Reservations gives you the ability to charge your guests for late cancellations and/or no shows at your own discretion. Yelp does not have the ability to charge or refund your guests - if they were to call into our Support team inquiring about a charge we will direct them to the restaurant.
To charge your guests from the iPad app
- From the Book tab, tap on the reservation you wish to charge
- Scroll through the reservation details until you see the last four of their credit card and Tap Charge
- Tap Charge again underneath the credit card details
- Enter the dollar amount and a reason for the charge and tap Next
- Type a custom message to the guest, if applicable, and then tap Complete Charge
To refund a diner, repeat steps 1-4 but instead of tapping charge, tap

To charge your guests from the Yelp Reservations website
- Login to your Yelp Reservations account
- From the Book tab, click on the reservation you wish to charge
- Scroll through the reservation details and click into the last four of their credit card
- Click Charge this card
- Enter the dollar amount, a reason for the charge, and a custom message to the guest, if applicable, then Click Charge
To refund a diner, repeat steps 1-4 but instead of selecting charge, click
