How do I collect cancellation and no-show charges?

If you’ve adopted and disclosed a policy to charge people who cancel their Yelp reservations outside the cancellation period or who don’t show up to their reservation, you can charge their card.

Yelp collects these cancellation and no-show charges, and pays them out to you on the 15th of every month for the prior month’s charges. There is a 3% processing fee for these charges. 

To receive these payments, you’ll first need to get set up in our processing system:

  • If you want to receive payments via direct deposit to your bank account, download and complete a W9 and an ACH form
  • If you want to receive payments via a mailed check, download and complete a W9   
Email your completed forms to our Restaurant Support team at restaurantsupport@yelp.com. A team member will respond and confirm, typically within 48 hours, once the forms have been processed.
