How do I create or edit a reservation for my business in Yelp Reservations?

Note that to be able to create any reservations, first you’ll need to have a sheet scheduled. To edit an existing reservation, just find it in the reservations list (either in the Floor tab, Book tab, or Grid tab) and click or tap it to edit the information.

Instructions for creating a reservation on:

To create a reservation on the website

  1. You can create a reservation from many places on the site, first log in and choose your location from the Yelp Reservations dashboard and then find any of these:
  • Click the Reservation + button in the Floor, Book, or Grid tabs
  • Click a specific table/timeslot square in the Grid tab
  • Click the Create Reservation button in the Reservations tab at the top of the Floor view
  • For specific party sizes, click the Capacity Finder button in the Book tab and then click an available timeslot
Once you’ve clicked any of these, the Add Reservation info fields pop up, and you can edit any of them (even if you selected a specific table/timeslot from the Grid):
  1. Enter/edit the necessary guest information in the fields – when entering the name, any matching people already in the guest book will pop up
  2. Click a table or multiple tables on the floor plan to select or change it – you can choose tables from other available rooms by clicking their tabs at the top. Note the symbols:
User-added image – table is available
User-added image – table is technically available but the minimum capacity is higher than the number of people in the reservation
User-added image – there’s a conflict, click the exclamation point to see an explanation
  1. Click Save

To create a reservation on the iPad app

  1. You can create a reservation from a few places on the app:
  • Tap the Reservation + button in the Floor, Book, or Grid tabs
  • Tap/Hold on a specific table/timeslot in the Grid tab
  • For specific party sizes, you can tap the Capacity Finder button in the Book tab and then tap an available timeslot
Once you’ve tapped any of these, the Add Reservation info fields pop up, and you can edit any of them (even if you selected a specific table/timeslot from the Grid):
