How do I troubleshoot syncing issues with the Yelp Reservations App?

Do you think your app is being “glitchy” or you are not seeing all of your online reservations come through? You might need to troubleshoot the app to get synced with the online server.
There are two different troubleshooting methods we recommend depending on your current syncing status. Please use the appropriate method for your situation. 

Your iPad is not syncing and there is not a number in the top left corner of the app (Yelp logo in the red box without number)

  1. Tap the iPad Settings icon and turn on Airplane Mode by sliding the toggle to the right for 5 seconds and then turn it back off
  2. Confirm that your Wifi network has successfully reconnected
  3. Tap open the Yelp Reservations app
  4. Tap Account on the left menu and log out
  5. On the login page tap the "i" icon in the top right corner

  1. Tap Show Advanced Settings and toggle ON to turn green the "Reset Local Database Upon Next Log In" option
  2. Tap Done and log back in

Your iPad is not syncing and there is a number in the top left corner of the app  (Yelp logo in the red box with number)

Note: Any time there is a number in the top left corner those are your "unsynced changes." If you "Reset Local Database Upon Next Log In" on an iPad that has a number in that corner you most likely will lose all of those changes. 
  1. Tap the iPad Settings icon and turn on Airplane Mode by sliding the toggle to the right for 5 seconds and then turn it back off
  2. Confirm that your Wifi network has successfully reconnected
  3. Force quit the Yelp Reservations app
  4. Open the app like usual again. You should start to see the number on the top left corner of the app to go down until it disappears. This is the confirmation the reservations are all synced completely.
