Yelp's default sort order (“Yelp Sort”) shows reviews that help consumers make informed decisions. The order is determined by recency, user voting, and other review quality factors, which is why an older review may appear before a newer one. Yelp Sort will also prioritize reviews from your friends if you’re logged in.
To access additional sort options and a more personalized experience for all business categories, you’ll need to log in or sign up for an account. Logged-in users also have the ability to sort reviews by Newest First, Oldest First, Highest Rating, Lowest Rating, or those written by Elites.
