Tips are a way to pass along some key information about a business -- such as the best time to go or your favorite dish -- without writing a full review about your experiences.
To post a Tip from a mobile device
- Log in to your user account on the app
- Locate the business for which you'd like to leave a tip
- Tap the ellipsis button on the top right
- Tap Add Tip
Please note that Tips can only be posted or edited from the Yelp mobile app. Tips are also subject to Yelp's recommendation software.
