Granting access to your contacts allows you to invite friends from your address book to join Yelp and find friends in your contacts who are already registered on Yelp. It also allows us to auto-populate data fields when ordering food or booking an appointment.
We don't send any emails to your friends without your authorization, and we don't expose your address book to marketers in any way.
