Yelp will store your personal information for so long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, which are described in Yelp’s Privacy Policy. When your personal information is no longer necessary for those purposes, it will be scheduled for deletion.
Some personal information is only reasonably needed for a set period of time. For example, Yelp will typically not retain precise geolocation information for longer than one year. Other personal information may not have a set retention period. For example, Yelp needs to maintain your account information while your account is open so we can provide Yelp’s services.
